“Continuous safety-systems” -the latest development in Adventure Park Safety!
What exactly does “continuous” mean?
It means that visitors in an Adventure Park are from the start of a "parcour" to its finish, continuously secured to the safety system. Other than directly improving safety, the two available styles of continuous safety-system offer several indirect advantages:
- Increase through-put
- Ideal for children (6 and over)
- Reduces personnel costs
- Broadens your customer base
Evolution Adventure Safety System – Bornack - http://www.bornack.de/
The Evolution Adventure Safety System is a system whereby the participant is secured to a Stainless Steel Safety Rope at the beginning of the course. Only at the end of the course can they free themselves from it again. and it requires no changing of the carabiners from exercise to exercise, removing the leading cause of accidents to date. There have been no significant accidents in any Bergwolf built Parks.
The “Evo-system” is well suited for all participants, but particularly small children.
We have already built this system into new and existing Adventure Parks, and we will happily share our experiences.
Smart-Belay - Edelrid - http://www.edelrid.de/
The Smart-Belay System is system whereby the 2 Carabiners “communicate” with each other, by way of a mechanical cable, allowing only one to be open at any time. With its in-built rollers it can also be used on a Flying Fox, requiring no additional Roller.
It is also available with or with out an in-built Shock-absorber.
We have already built this system into new and existing Adventure Parks, and we will happily share our experiences.
Safe-Link System (SSB) - Bornack
The SSB system is a system where the 2 Carabiners "communicate" with each other, by way of a mechanical cable, allowing only one to be open at any time. Also both carabiners can only be hung in predetermined locations on the safety system, directly ensuring the Carabiners are hung in the right place. It has few movable parts, is wear-resistant and is suitable for heavy use and in the elements.
Other advantages:
Easy to explain, minimises misunderstanding
Minimises time required to demonstrate usage
Reduces supervision demands of trainers
Higher safety for the visitor
Can be built into existing Adventure Parks!
We have already built this system into new Adventure Parks, and we will happily share our experiences.
if you already have a Adventure Park and wish to have one of these systems built in to your facility, contact us to discuss the possibilities. Although these systems can be planned and built into any new park, these systems have their limits when the park is already built, due to the choice of elements, and the building methods used. let us help you make an informed-decision about whether these systems are for your park. We have already built this system into new Adventure Parks, and we will happily share our experiences.
