Ropes Course, High Ropes Course, Adventure Park…?
The structural base of Ropes Courses or Adventure Parks, are predominantly posts or the trunks of living trees. Between these posts, various obstacles and activities are built that the participant are to overcome. These are all connected together using either Steel Wire Ropes, Ropes, or wooden constructions, and can range in heights from 3-15metres high.

The “classical” High Ropes Courses are predominantly built from Wooden Posts, occasionally from Steel, and are suitable for either team activities and pedagogical activities. Participation requires the use of "team-belay" techniques to ensure safety.

Adventure Parks are either built on posts like a classical High Ropes Course, but can also be built in forests, utilising trees as the structural base. They are predominantly used for adventure, fun, and for challenging participants. Participation requires the use of "self-belay" techniques to ensure safety.

Occasionally, as an addition to an Adventure Park, a High Ropes Course is built often called a “Team Parcour”. It is always built a little distance away, to enable the participating group to build up trust with one another, and to develop a “group-feeling”, undisturbed by the activities in the Adventure Park. Each require their respective belay technique.

So called “artificial” Adventure Parks, which are built on posts, can be easily built on to existing structures. They can be built to suit the customer’s wishes, and/or to suit the location’s conditions, and although structural engineering factors must be considered, they are virtually unlimited in their possibilities.
