Generally, everyone who is 10 years or older may enter our Ropes Course, if they are part of a group.

Children 10-14 years old can take part in Night Climbing, in the company of a responsible adult.

 

All participants are required to complete a pre-participation questionnaire, to indicate if there are contra-indicators to participation. In extreme cases the Safety trainer may suggest that you may not participate due to health risks, or they will discuss with you any limits to participation.

We are open for individuals, as for groups with at least 6 people.

 

The safety of the participants is our uppermost principle. This is demonstrated on many levels.

All participants receive full safety equipment (Helmet, Harness and Cowtails), and comprehensive instruction about how to use them.

All our Trainers have completed intensive training, and undertake further training as new developments in the ever-changing Ropes Course Industry appear, such as guidelines produced by ERCA.

Our park and materials are annually inspected, and maintained to ensure safety levels are maintained.

We are also a member of the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN) which compiled the new norms 15567:1, and 15567:2, addressing building and operating standards in Ropes Courses.

During the summer months we offer a special programme for individual climbers. Friday nights between 5pm – 10pm, is “night climbing”.

Just turn up on Friday nights, fill out the form, and complete the safety instructions, and then go for it. No pre-booking, no obligations. Night Climbing is 2hrs, inclusive Safety Introduction.
